How to Play Red Dog. You can see your bet total in the Player Information box. You can increase or decrease the bet amount. Place the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. Each time you click the left mouse button you will add a chip from that pile to your planned wager amount. The cards will be dealt face up on the table. A Red Dog is placed on the table indicating the spread between the two cards the dealer has drawn.
Sometimes the first initial cards dealt by the dealer are the cards of the same value (a pair). If there are two equal cards the player will not lose anyway. The dealer deals the third card. If the third drawn card is of the same value, the player is paid 11:1.
Sometimes the two cards dealt by the dealer are consecutive. The example of consecutive cards is 7 and 8 or J and Q. In the case of a non-consecutive hand the dealer announces the spread between the two dealt cards. The spread is the number of values that fall between two drawn cards. For example the spread between a 3 and a 10 is 6(4,5,6,7,8,9).
When the spread is announced and marked (by the Red Dog), players have to decide whether they want to raise an initial bet or not.
