How to Play Red Dog. Red Dog table is similar to that of Blackjack.

Sometimes the two cards dealt by the dealer are consecutive. The example of consecutive cards is 7 and 8 or J and Q. In the case of a consecutive hand the hand is declared a push and the player is given his original bet back. A red Dog is places on the table to indicate the spread between two cards.
