Red Dog table is similar to that of Blackjack.
before playing the game players have to make bets. At the bottom of the casino game window there are chips of different denomination. You can see your bet total in the Player Information box. You can increase or decrease the bet amount. Place the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. Each time you click the left mouse button you will add a chip from that pile to your planned wager amount. Clicking on the right mouse button and it will decrease your planned wager amount.
After placing a bet press on the ‘Deal’ button and the game will start. Two cards will be dealt by the dealer. The cards will be dealt face up on the table. A Red Dog is placed on the table indicating the spread between the two cards the dealer has drawn. If the two cards dealt by the dealer aren’t consecutive and not a pair the player has to take a decision. The player decides whether he wants to raise a bet or not. The third cards is dealt.
Sometimes the first initial cards dealt by the dealer are the cards of the same value (a pair). If there are two equal cards the player will not lose anyway. The dealer deals the third card. If the value of the third card is different from the value of the first two cards the player is given his bet back. If the third drawn card is of the same value, the player is paid 11:1.
Sometimes the two cards dealt by the dealer are consecutive. The example of consecutive cards is 7 and 8 or J and Q. In the case of a consecutive hand the hand is declared a push and the player is given his original bet back. To play the game till the end there should happen a non-consecutive hand. In the case of a non-consecutive hand the dealer announces the spread between the two dealt cards. A red Dog is places on the table to indicate the spread between two cards. The spread is the number of values that fall between two drawn cards. For example the spread between a 3 and a 10 is 6(4,5,6,7,8,9).
When the spread is announced and marked (by the Red Dog), players have to decide whether they want to raise an initial bet or not. You have to click on the “RAISE” button if you want to double your initial wager. Click on the “STAND” button to stand on your original wager. The dealer draws one more, the third card as soon as you click on the “RAISE” or ”STAND” button. The value of the third card is compared to the value of the first two cards. You win if the value of the third card falls between the values of the first two cards. If the value of the third card is equal to the value of one of the first two cards the player loses and the casino takes the bet.
