Sometimes the two cards dealt by the dealer are consecutive. In the case of a consecutive hand the hand is declared a push and the player is given his original bet back. In the case of a non-consecutive hand the dealer announces the spread between the two dealt cards. The value of the third card is compared to the value of the first two cards. You win if the value of the third card falls between the values of the first two cards.
