How to Play Red Dog.

Sometimes the first initial cards dealt by the dealer are the cards of the same value (a pair). If there are two equal cards the player will not lose anyway. If the third drawn card is of the same value, the player is paid 11:1.
Sometimes the two cards dealt by the dealer are consecutive. The example of consecutive cards is 7 and 8 or J and Q. To play the game till the end there should happen a non-consecutive hand. In the case of a non-consecutive hand the dealer announces the spread between the two dealt cards. A red Dog is places on the table to indicate the spread between two cards. The spread is the number of values that fall between two drawn cards.
