How to Play Red Dog. Red Dog table is similar to that of Blackjack. You can see your bet total in the Player Information box. Two cards will be dealt by the dealer. A Red Dog is placed on the table indicating the spread between the two cards the dealer has drawn.
Sometimes the first initial cards dealt by the dealer are the cards of the same value (a pair). The dealer deals the third card. If the third drawn card is of the same value, the player is paid 11:1.
Sometimes the two cards dealt by the dealer are consecutive. The example of consecutive cards is 7 and 8 or J and Q. In the case of a consecutive hand the hand is declared a push and the player is given his original bet back. To play the game till the end there should happen a non-consecutive hand. A red Dog is places on the table to indicate the spread between two cards. The spread is the number of values that fall between two drawn cards. For example the spread between a 3 and a 10 is 6(4,5,6,7,8,9).
When the spread is announced and marked (by the Red Dog), players have to decide whether they want to raise an initial bet or not.
