How to Play Red Dog. Each time you click the left mouse button you will add a chip from that pile to your planned wager amount. In the case of a non-consecutive hand the dealer announces the spread between the two dealt cards. A red Dog is places on the table to indicate the spread between two cards. The spread is the number of values that fall between two drawn cards. For example the spread between a 3 and a 10 is 6(4,5,6,7,8,9).
