Red Dog is a very popular game. Red Dog is a simple card game that is also known as Yablon, Acey-Deucy, Ace-Deuce, In-Between and Between the Sheets. Some gamblers say that Red Dog is a game of a chance, others-that it is a game of a skill. The objective of Red Dog is to predict whether the value of a randomly selected card falls between the value of two cards drawn previously by the dealer. In Red Dog the cards are of different value. Cards 2 to 10 are valued at their face value. Jacks’ value is 11. Queens’ value is 12. Kings’ value is 13. The value of Aces is 14. The game starts as soon as the player places a bet. After placing a bet the dealer removes two cards from the shoe and places them face up on the table. After the cards are dealt the player has to decide whether he want to raise a bet or not. After taking a decision the dealer removes the third card. If the value of the third cards is between the values of the first two cards the player wins. Original bets are paid out at even money. Raise bets are paid out according to a scale, where the closer the two cards are together, the better the payout is. If the dealer removes a pair or two consecutive cards out of the shoe it is called a push. In the case of a push the third cards is dealt. The player will be paid 11:1 if the third dealt card makes “Three of a Kind”.
